Water Treatment Chemicals

Types of Chemicals

There are exactly 14 different types of water treatment chemicals. Their all named these types of chemicals:

Algaecides

Antifoams

Biocides

Boiler water chemicals

Coagulants

Corrosion inhibitors

Disinfectants

Flocculants

Neutralizing agents

Oxidants

Oxygen scavengers

pH conditioners

Resin cleaners

Scale inhibitors

So those are all 14 water treatment chemicals. Now here is more info on all of them starting with Algaecideas.

Algaecideas

Algaecideas are chemicals that can kill blue and green algae. It would be good to get rid of that kind of algae in a fish tank but you would have to get your fish out and move them to another tank first.

Antifoams

Antifoams are foam masses of bubbles it can be part of physical chemistry test.

Biocides

Biocides represent many different types of bacteria like for example if it you had for a laboratory test it would show different types of bacteria.

Boiler Water Chemicals

Bolier water chemicals include these features Oxygen scavenging; So Boiler Water chemicals would include these 4 main parts. Scale inhibition, Corrosion inhibition, Alkalinity Control and Antifoaming.

Coagulants

Coagulants features some substances on the periodic table featuring aluminum and iron.

Corrosion Inhibitors

Corrosion Inhibitors are used as a general term to feature boiler systems and they also feature deposition of corrosion products.

Disinfectants

Disinfectants feature chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, and the last thing it features is hypochlorite.

So you see some of these features have to do with water treatment chemicals. They also show how different bacteria's are and how you can use cleaning supplies like chlorine for example.
